Made using Roku Gin
In Japanese, Roku translates as the number six. Inside every bottle of Roku Gin, you will find six very special botanicals that are sourced in Japan. These represent Suntory’s commitment to only use the best ingredients harvested from the best growing areas in Japan. Every aspect of Roku Gin is crafted by Japanese artisans with a centuries-old tradition of meticulous attention to detail.
Not only are Roku Gin’s ingredients of the highest quality, many are also uniquely Japanese and, therefore, best understood by Japanese artisans. Suntory’s mastery of this process is the result of extensive experience gained over decades making gin. Suntory developed its own multiple distillation process as a result of the special features each botanical brings to Roku Gin’s perfectly balanced mix.
From the team at Sachi at Pantechnicon, Knightsbridge
Sachi is a celebration of Japanese food, culture and craft. It’s a place of discovery and delight. Our food, inspired by regional Japanese cooking, has surprising Nordic touches and is made with local ingredients from unique producers.
Expect Cornish line-caught fish and Scottish hand-picked shellfish prepared by our chefs at the sushi counter, British meat from premium heritage breeds cooked over coals on our robata grill and organic Japanese greens grown in Sussex.
The strikingly designed open dining room is complemented by private booths, an intimate sushi counter, private dining room and late-night bar and lounge inspired by Tokyo’s secret speakeasies.
We have a sake sommelier on hand, with our selection of sake curated by one of the UK’s only Sake Samurais. Our Japanese whisky, taken from our bottle shop Sakaya, is one of London’s most extensive, and features many rare and exclusive bottlings. There’s also cocktails crafted with spirits and flavours of Japan by our resident mixologists.
