The Drinks Drop Loves...
Our list of what's hot at The Drinks Drop this February.
What are we listening to? FKA Twigs – Caprisongs
Since this came out we’ve had it on repeat. An FKA Twigs mixtape is something we never knew we needed so bad. Every song is a bop and we’re blessed with features from The Weeknd, Shygirl, Jorja Smith and many more. Caprisongs is vibrant and playful and as always Twigs vocals are 5*.
Favourite place to eat? Mildreds
Our love for Mildreds stretches far beyond Veganuary… This 100% plant-based piece of London royalty has been our go to when ordering in lunch at the office. Our go to is either the Soul Bowl or Korean Fried Chick’n burger.
Favourite place to drink? Hacha Brixton
We can’t recommend Hacha Brixton enough. As if the mirrored walls downstairs (representing their award-winning Mirror Margarita) wasn’t cool enough, London’s only Agaveria has an ever-changing list of 25 different agave spirits to explore, as well as a creative cocktail menu and a delicious selection of authentic Mexican dishes. If you haven’t tried it out yet, get down there now. Can’t make it to Hacha? They have a cocktail on our menu, check it out here.
New obsession? GRNDHOUSE
GRNDHOUSE have opened their gorgeous new London studio in Paddington. Strength workouts for all levels, GRNDHOUSE is perfect for anybody looking to improve their mood, strength, burn fat and feel amazing. The studio has a packed programme targeting every area, some of the best trainers out there, and an overall vibe which is inclusive and second to none. Plus, if you can’t make it to London, their on-demand online workouts are available 24/7. Click here to check out their website now.
What we’re looking forward to? Punchdrunk
Immersive theatre company Punchdrunk are returning to London in March with ‘The Burnt City’. Generally, things at Punchdrunk are pretty hush hush, but they’re given us this little taster of what’s to come ‘as Greece teeters on the brink of victory, the neon backstreets of Downtown Troy give way to a sprawling labyrinth hiding secrets even the prophecies could not foretell. In this colossal playground, the furies watch on as mortals play out their fate. And as night falls, the city comes alive’. If previous performances are anything to go by, every audience member will have an entirely unique experience. You won’t want to miss this, find tickets here.
Where are we dancing? Metropolis
Looking for a Saturday night party? A Disco in a Str!p Club at Metropolis is our top recommendation for the month ahead. High-energy, sweaty, unpretentious is at the core of this night. House and disco lovers unite. This one is for you.
Where are we grabbing coffee? Ducie Street Warehouse
One of our favourite spots in Manchester has to be Ducie Street Warehouse. This place literally has something for everybody, restaurant, bar, even a mini cinema. DSW takes the top spot for our favourite place to grab a coffee. The vibes in the lounge are exactly what we need right now.
What are we wearing? Varsity Jackets
Get those varsity jackets on. Leather sleeves have never been sexier, and they’ve never been more accessible as there are tonnes of amazing vegan leathers out there. Our favourite is the MKI College Varsity Jacket, grab yours from END now.
