Hi, I’m Nicholas Graham the Production manager here at The Drinks Drop. I got started here doing bike deliveries last summer then got roped in to looking after the drinks.
The best thing about The Drinks Drop?
Seems a bit silly, but the drinks… duh. The convenience of it all is a huge bonus too. Bar quality drinks in the park? Go on then!
Where’s your favourite secret hangout spot?
At the moment it’s our cool room. It’s well hot outside 😝
Where do you go to for cocktail inspiration?
Ride my bike around Regent’s Park. It clears my mind and lets my thoughts run free.
What’s your top bartender tip for making cocktails at home?
Pay attention to what you’re doing. Seems silly, but it’s the small details that make a good drink great.
Where’s your next holiday/travel destination going to be and why?
Scotland to see the “in-laws” with Nicole then hopefully to Norway to see the big brother. Soon, Tommy!
What’s your desert island 5?
Movie – Ocean’s 12. Of course.
Album – Stadium Arcadium – Red Hot Chili Peppers (track 13 is a stand out).
Book – Watchers by Dean Koontz. I remember reading it in a pub and I realised halfway through a chapter that I was bawling my eyes out with joy. Exceptional read.
Cocktail – Aperol Spritz.
Meal – Nicole’s Ramen with a side of sour cream and chives Pringles.
Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
Dwayne The Rock Johnson. Who else?
Man walks into a bar… What’s the most bizarre, eye opening or interesting customer request or experience you’ve had?
Too many to choose from. Literally anytime someone says, “can you make me this one drink I had that one time at this bar at that one spot on the other side of the planet.” Like yeah sure I’ll just phone them up and get the drink spec.
