Something new we might be surprised to see during London Cocktail Week 2021?
We’ve got our own pop-up bar this year in the heart of Covent Garden - and we’ve opened the Main Bar up to our friends from around the UK and Europe who will be hosting take overs throughout, so you just never know what you might get to taste or who you might get to meet.
Best London Cocktail Week memory (ever)?
Our tenth birthday celebration was pretty special. We gathered our nearest and dearest, got to stand up and give the thank you speech that had been brewing for a decade and then we had an absolutely wonderful party.
Where’s your favourite secret hangout spot?
We’ve got some real hidden gems on this years list and have worked hard to find them. Ogam Tapas Bar in Islington is a truly authentic Korean bar with the most amazing team, the new spot Abajo has also joined the list this year and also KOL Mezcalaria… both a fantastic find if you’ve not been already.
Where do you go to for cocktail inspiration?
Watching any bartender work is always fascinating - they all have their own favourite ingredient or a certain style to the way they mix drinks that is cool. The only cocktails we make at home ourselves are Martinis - so we wait for our inspiration to arrive through our letter box from you guys! 😜
What are you going to do to unwind after London Cocktail Week?
We’re going to spend a little bit less time on our laptops and hopefully get away for some R&R. We have absolutely no doubt we deserve it…
